This is a post about a fictional movie or TV show I had in mind.
Logline: Apple’s last-ditch effort to dominate tech again will involve making an AI version of yourself like you are God.
The next considerable debate humanity will have with itself is how far should we allow AI to modify and improve our lives? At what point does our own free will to improve on our own go away? Where is the line between where humans should improve themselves vs how much AI should intervene?
In the year 2025 Tesla and Apple are in talks of a merger. Tim Cook sees Tesla’s sales fall as people are people are beginning to hoard money in response to inflation. Tesla is also in heaps of debt that it cannot pay off. But Tesla still has enough power to sway the market.
In 2024 a college dropout turned homebody named Shantu decides he wants to change his life for the better he starts searching on Google about government experiments about mindcontrol and puppeteering.
He forms a question that will be the bedrock of this whole series or movie. “Am I really successful if I was programmed against my own free will for it?”
Apple buys a lot of data from Google and they stumble upon Shantu’s activity. They decide to get a hold of him and offer him the chance for his wildest dreams to come true.
Basically the world has become full of porn addicted boys whose parents did not realize how bad the internet would fuck their kids up. This causes them to be homebodies who sit at home and watch porn and masturbate all day.
Apple realizes a massive market for this. They will make iGod free. The product is the user. How they will make money off of it is by tracking how the AI regulates your impulse control and the rate of change of your learning ability and selling them to educational institutions. Also when the iGod makes you successful Apple will take a percent of your earnings.
How iGOD will track is by you wearing an Apple Watch and the watch monitors everything and records everything around you include body temperature, heartbeat, and steps. You will also wear contact lenses that records your environment.
Once iGOD has a good feel for how you operate then it will make an even better version of you. This even better version of you is what will guide you and even control you when necessary. Who better to be your god (master) than a high-tech version of yourself? One big thinghere is that what you ask the AI of it must do it until the job is 100 % done.
The condition Apple will have when you sign up for the program will be that the iGod will be on always. The iGod allows you to pick what you want to be successful at, but the iGod will control how you learn that successful trait or behavior. So many subjects really begin to learn that you only ask the iGod for help when it’s for a great reason. For example, you ask the iGod to make you a killer software engineer, because that’s a useful skill you will need. You don’t ask the iGod to help you stop watching porn as the iGod is programmed to make sure the job is 100% complete. Basically you must pick and choose carefully when to use the iGod.
Elon Musk agrees to sell Tesla to Apple. Once blockchain technology comes full circle you ENTIRE life and all the products you use will revolve around one operating system. For Apple and Tesla they will use Ethereum’s sign in system as the default sign-in for their OS’. For Microsoft and Android they will also use Ethereum sign-in. Ethereum will be a decentralized monopoly so it won’t need to be regulated much. Microsoft learned from its mistake in 2007 and now they are introducing the Microsoft EV Car. Apple also wants a car, but they realize that Tesla has an aesthetic that matches Apple’s. So it’s much more pragmatic for Apple to buy Tesla.
Apple’s initial merger talk’s will cause them to lose face Apple rejected Musk’s sell offer in 2018. But people will soon accept it as having the Apple OS in every device they use along with SIWE (Sign-in with Ethereum) will make their lives astronomially simpler.
Elon Musk being the balsy motherfucker he is does not actually want to sell Tesla. So what he does is he tries to hack all 10 million iGod subjects and sabotage the AIs to sabotage the users of iGod. This causes crime to rise significantly. Elon basically blackmails the government into forcing Apple to merge INTO Tesla rather than Tesla merging INTO Apple. Basically Elon wants to retain his majority stake in a company called Tesla that AQUIRED Apple. His ego could not survive the reverse scenario of Apple AQUIRING Tesla.
The guy who co-founded Ethereum (Vitalik Buterin) sees the greed from both Tim Cook and Elon and then threatens to put the killswitch on the Ethereum blockain (Vitalik has billions so he doesn’t give a fuck). This forces both Musk and Cook to renogitate the merger and come to the consensus to do an equal merger where both men keep their shares. The new company will be called Tappelsa, a quasi-portmanteu of Apple and Tesla. Both men will be considered CEO and COO interchangeably.
Shantu wants revenge on Elon Musk for turning his iGod into a rogue agent which caused Shantu to be a killer. (Shantu got off on the murder charge as Apple bribed the US government, and then paid off the families of victims who were killed). Before the iGod was hacked by Elon, Shantu got iGod to teach him hacking and programming. So Shantu uses this skill to create an iGod of Elon who causes Elon to self-sabotage. But unlike the rest of the iGod test subjects, Elon does not know he is being controlled by his iGod. Shantu put in a special algorithm that allows Shantu to control the AI. This causes massive disruption in the market as Elon becomes “unhinged.” Elon suspects someone made an iGod of him and scorches the planet to find the asshole who screwed him.
On Elon’s quest to find Shantu he realizes that the controller of his iGod probably knows he’s coming after him. Elon knows the iGod knows his every step. So what does Elon do? He asks Tim Cook to kill the creator of the Elon iGod. One thing Tim Cook never did as a way to gain leverage over Elon was make him agree that he will never ask the names of the iGod subjects. Tim Cook is the only one in the world who can track the locations of the iGods and killswitch the iGod program. So he inevtibly find Shantu and tells him he will offer him a job at Tappelsa on the condition he does not fight Tim Cook on killing the Elon iGod. Shantu “agrees.”
Afer Time Cook kills the Elon iGod, Elon becomes much more sane again. Elon and Shantu meet when Tim introduces him as a lead developer in a new project. Elon’s feathers are ruffled as the timing of Shantu’s presence into Tappelsa is an unusual coincidence. Elon asks “why have I never heard of this Shantu guy before.” Elone begins to suspect it was Shantu who created the Elon iGod. So to find out the truth Elon pays someone at the CIA for a truth serum that makes someone tell the truth no-matter what. So Elon takes Shantu out for lunch in his private limo. Elon tells Shantu “look at those girls they got nice asses!.” And then Shantu looks and then Elon jabs the truth serum syringe into Shantu’s neck. This causes Shantu to go into a hypnotic trance. Elon asks point-blank if Shantu created the Elon iGod. Shantu says yes.
Afer Elon gets his answer he is debating on how to respond to Shantu. Shantu has no clue that he was injected with the truth serum. On one hand, Elon cannot blame Shantu as Elon started this first. But at the same time he knows Shantu still has the skills it takes to destroy him. The question Elon asks himself is; “Can I reason with this guy and make him useful to me?” “Or do I have no choice, but to kill him, because it’s either him or me?”
Elon begins to probe further and tries to get to know Shantu on a human level. Elon decides….. (On the next episode)
