Web 2 Mutability Vs. Web 3 Immutability

In web 2 the only real way to regulate hatred is by asking a gigantic corporation or ISPs to de-platform someone’s domains and content. And in turn what that does is that it allows these behemoths to de-platform anyone and everyone on the basis that they think the general audience will accept it and they know that we need them and they don’t need us. This is obviously a wrong way to live. In web 3 the only way to de-platform hate is by buying it out the bigotry, just plain ignoring it, or humiliate the bigot in a way they cannot see coming. In an Ethereum based web 3 environment there is no censoring people like Kanye West if they run their own ENS domains or mint out a hateful looking NFT. It’s immutable and stays on the blockchain forever!

With web 2, you cannot be a beggar and a chooser. We beg for free platforms like Google, but we cannot choose what they do to us as a result of the centralized power we give them. In web 3, beggars are choosers as any true decentralized process doesn’t involve a central gatekeeper and the power of a protocol is not dependent on your personal submission to the creators of it.

Note I am only using Kanye West as he is a very well known figure and we can understand the topics in this article using him as the example!

1. The Public Burn Project

My good friend in web 3 KelzTheGreat has this amazing idea where he burns bigoted ENS names, and this has started a trend of its own where people mint bigoted names and then send it to the burn address. If we really care about eradicating hatred in web 3 it needs to come from the community, not from a big head like google. In web 2 bigoted domains are made to be un-registerable, where as in web 3 we have the right tor register whatever we please.

2. Ignoring The Hatred

The outrage economy in web 2 is booming! As more people engage with the hatred, the more money companies like Google and Facebook make! In web 3 where we understand that hatred is immutable we can kill the outrage economy by ignoring the bigots! Even when companies like Google and Facebook “censor” the bigots, they do so only after making the maximum amount of profit from the outrage economy. See how that works? In web 3 the outrage economy is less likely to thrive as no one who has a basic understanding of web 3 will ask “how is this allowed?” In Web 2 that question is fair as content is built on an architecture that can be controlled and censored by centralized forces, and when the question in web 2 of “how or why something is allowed” is asked the more dollars both the bigots and corporations make as that sets the premise for the outrage machine to pour in engagement and in turn dollars.

3. Understanding Basic Psychology

When Kanye goes on a bigoted rant he always gets coverage as crazy behavior attracts attention which then attracts dollars from the outrage machine. In web 3 Kanye’s dilemma is immutable, and the less you mute him the quieter he gets as he is not receiving the pushback he deserves. Think of it like this, for someone who has a mindset like Kanye’s, the more you try and silence him the more loud and bigoted he gets which then gets him more attention than he ever asked for! He is an attention whore and will do everything to get it! In web 3, the more he talks, the more we ignore him, and the more we ignore him, the quieter he gets. Remember Kanye is still human and there is no greater humiliation for someone like him than to be ignored. Being ignored will shut-up anyone who is being ignored. In web 3 when everyone understand that you can mute crazy then the outrage machine will have no choice but to just let him talk and just ignore him.

Now you are asking why don’t we just ignore him in web 2? Because the technology in web 2 requires centralized power to destroy Kanye, they maintain their hegemony by letting Kanye get bigoted and then censor him when the centralized powers have made the money from the attention Kanye attracted.

This is obviously a toxic mindset, but in web 2 this concept of the outrage economy has made social media companies billions.

4. Transparent Information Gathering

If we want to get rid of bigots and scammers in web 3 we must be good at doing our own private investigations. Google and Facebook won’t do it for us in web 3 as they will have no control over web 3 (if Ethereum based). How will information be gathered in web 3? By looking at the blockchain data of scammers and bigots. Understand where they are getting their funds from and where their funds are going! In web 3 where anonymity has the power to be greatest enabler of scamming and hate we must find ways to get the bigots and scammers to expose themselves by acting as “undercover agents.” In my opinion the private intelligence industry will boom in Web 3!

In web 3 things like terrorist propaganda and incredibly hateful people will in the INITIAL STAGES (keywords are INITIAL STAGES) as they realize they have a protocol that cannot be censored, but once the initial stages is worn out we will see these bigots eradicate themselves. We eradicate them by playing them at their own game and doing genuine public good works to out them!

5. Learning How To Scam A Bigot

Scammers are generally horrible people who make web 3 look bad. In a scenario where bigots are running rampant, then scammers become an essential function for gaining access to the bigots trust and thus their wallets. If you are a web 3 scammer learn how bigots minds operates and scam them out! Bigots are generally stupid people and will take any grandiose bait given to them!

In the next few years we will understand the critical roles scammers play in eradicating web 3 of bigoted people!

6. Smart Contract Hacking And Wallet Hacking

As more bigots get into web 3 they will use Chat-GPT to create shoddy smart contracts to mint crappy NFTs. AI will not replace actual coders as the human element to coding is necessary to prevent security breaches. Bigots are stupid, so they will not realize that the smart contract they use with CHAT-GPT might not be fully secure, so we need to know how to hack the contracts to get rid of their bigotry. Also they will use hot wallets as they think they won’t get hacked.

7. Humiliation

A bigot seeks attention, money, and power. What if buying them out and ignoring them does not help eradicate them? In that case you humiliate them. An attention whore can tolerate all forms of publicity, except humiliation. Bigots are narcissistic people and they love being hated, but one thing their fragile egos can’t tolerate is humiliation. How do you humiliate a bigot in web 3? Same way you do in web 2, use their arguments against them and portray them in the most comedic way possible.

8. Provoke Them To Admit To Plotting A Crime Or Confess To One

In web 2 the funniest thing ever is this thing called Rentahitman.com which is a fed website and a total joke, but idiots still think they can use it to hire a hitman and in return they got caught. In web 3 we need to trap bigots into admitting they are plotting a crime and then use that evidence to launch criminal investigations against them.

9. Pretend To Be Their Friend

Obviously no good person wants to be friends with a bigot, but bigots love thinking the world is agreeing with them. The purpose of this is to get to know them, so you know how to destroy them. In this instance use a new profile, wallet, pfp, and ENS. This one is different from information gather as this deals with the human element of a need to “belong.” Bigots have never felt belonged so once they feel belonged they will confess their dark hearts to you!

10. Expose Them To Their Jobs, Communities, And Families

I am not in favor of doing this, because in web 2 we have seen innocent people destroyed over non-sense, but in web 3 where the market will have an understanding of how not to make the outrage machine rich then exposing them them to their closest ones becomes a viable option. But only do this if the bigot is really bigoted, do not do this if they made a off-hand remark that is not completely unforgivable. Use this one with caution as it could land you in legal trouble!
